Port Introduction

HAY POINT/Cape# Port nature: Gulf Port# Longitude and latitude: 21 ° 16 ′ S, 149 ° 18 ′ E# Located in the Dalrymple Bay of Queensland, eastern Australia (full name: THE COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA), adjacent to the southwest side of the Coral Sea, it is Australia's second largest coal export port and one of the world's twenty largest bulk cargo ports. Located 19km north of MACKAY Port. The port has a tropical rainforest climate, with prevailing southeast winds. The annual average temperature is around 10-20 ℃. Hong Kong is located in a cyclone belt, and the cyclone season is from November to April of the following year, with an average of 2 occurrences per year. The average annual rainfall is about 2000mm. The average high tide range is 4.75m and the low tide range is 2.24m. In 1993, coal exports reached 24 million tons, ranking eleventh among the world's top 20 bulk cargo ports. During holidays, except for Christmas, loading and unloading operations are carried out as usual.
