Port Introduction

Old translation by Ji Long. Australian commercial port. Located on the west coast of Phillip Bay in the southeast of the country, southwest of Melbourne, facing the Bass Strait. It is about 45 nautical miles northeast of Melbourne Port, about 180 nautical miles west of Portland Port, and about 580 nautical miles southeast of Sydney Port via the Bass Strait. To the west is Portland Port, and to the northwest is Adlai City. The port area is located in the small bay of Colio, which is concave to the west of Feipu Port, with the main dock on the west bank. From south to north here is the CUNNIGHAM pier, which is 328 meters long and has 4 berths on both sides. The water depth along the edge is 9.7 meters, and there is a railway directly to the pier. There is a warehouse area of 2055 meters used for loading and unloading general cargo. The bulk cargo pier has two berths in the north and south, with a pier length of 201 meters and a water depth of 11 meters along the edge. There are gantry cranes on the pier for loading and unloading bulk grain for export. CORIO harbor pool, there is a berth on the south side of the dock, 183 meters long and 9.7 meters deep, used for berthing roll on/roll off ships, with a slope; There are three berths on the north side of the dock, with berths 1 and 2 each being 183 meters long and 11 meters deep. The former is used for loading and unloading bulk cargo, with a loading and unloading efficiency of 600 tons per hour, while the latter is used for loading and unloading general cargo, with a warehouse of 335 square meters and a 6-ton shore crane; Berth 3 is 161 meters long and 9.7 meters deep, used for loading and unloading general cargo. There is a warehouse of 2632 square meters on the dock. LASCELLES dock has 3 berths, arranged along the shore, with a water depth of up to 11 meters for each berth. Berths 1 and 2 are 173 meters long and are used for loading and unloading dry bulk cargo. The efficiency of the unloader is 600 tons per hour; Berth 3 is 275 meters long and is used for loading and unloading containers. The refinery has a forked protruding embankment with a total of 4 berths. Berths 1 and 2 are used for loading and unloading finished oil, each 2.3 meters long and 11 meters deep; 3. Berth 4 is 275 meters long and 11 meters deep, used for loading and unloading crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas. Wilson Point and Dangerous Goods Causeway are located at the eastern end of the north bank of Xiaowan, with two berths each 168 meters long and 9.1 meters deep. The PT and HENRY embankments are located on the east side of the north protruding cape on the south bank of Xiaowan, with a length of 152 meters and a water depth of 11 meters. They are used for loading and unloading bauxite and products. There are over 20 deep-water berths in Hong Kong with an annual throughput capacity of 7 million tons. Export wool, wheat, meat, and oil, and import petroleum, etc.
