Port Introduction

Australian industrial port. Located at the southeast entrance of Naros Fjord near the Tropic of Cancer on the east coast of the country, there are islands such as Chinese Island and Faxin Island to block wind and waves, and ships enter the port from the southeast. The north-south railway runs parallel to the coast in the rear, and the gas pipeline connects to Dalton; Outside the port, the sea route is 314 nautical miles south of Brisbane, 34 nautical miles north of Rockhampton, and 430 nautical miles northwest of Townsville Port. The port area extends about 17 kilometers northwest southeast along the southwest coast of the fjord, with a total of six docks distributed from the mouth inward as follows: Smettel Dock, a "T" shaped dock at the Glastonville Aluminum Refinery, with a wall length of 700 meters, a dock length of 250 meters, and a water depth of 15 meters, which can accommodate ships of over 60000 tons. South Leites Wharf is a dedicated wharf for Queensland aluminum smelters, with a straight arm design that can accommodate one ship from east to west. The low tide depth is 12.8 meters, with the east berth used for aluminum exports and the west berth used for bauxite imports. The loading and unloading efficiency is 1200-2000 tons per hour. Barni Point Wharf is 205 meters long, with a wharf style structure. At low tide, the water depth reaches 12.2 meters, and the coal unloading efficiency is 2000 tons per hour. There is a 400000 ton storage yard on the wharf, making it one of the coal export terminals of the port. Aokelan Cape Terminal, 578m long in total, is the only quayside terminal in the port, with three berths for coal, grain and product oil, 9.8-12.28m deep, including 300000 tons of coal berth storage yard and 1600 tons of shipping efficiency per hour; There is a 48000 ton grain warehouse behind the grain berth, with a loading efficiency of 400 tons per hour. The Clinton Coal Terminal has a deep-water berth with a low tide depth of 17.2 meters, which can reliably accommodate 120000 ton ships. There is also a 1.8 million ton yard at the rear, with a coal loading efficiency of 4000 tons per hour. Klingkai Wharf is dedicated to Queensland Cement Plant, with a water depth of 10.4 meters, capable of reliably accommodating 25000 ton vessels, and a loading efficiency of up to 20 million tons per hour. There are a total of over 10 berths in Hong Kong.
