Port Introduction

Yingkou Port is located in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, China, on the northeast coast of Liaodong Bay. It is a national first-class open port and an important comprehensive coastal port in Northeast China. The port standard code is CNYIK, jointly managed by Dalian Customs (Yingkou Customs), Liaoning Maritime Bureau (Yingkou Maritime Bureau), and Yingkou Transportation Bureau, and mainly operated by Liaoning Port Group Co., Ltd. (Liaoning Port Co., Ltd.). Yingkou Port is located in the core area of the Bohai Economic Circle and is the closest important gateway to the hinterland in Northeast China. It is also an important node in the Liaoning Coastal Economic Belt and the Northeast Sea Land Corridor. The port relies on comprehensive transportation networks such as Shenhai Expressway, Jingha Expressway, Harbin Dalian Railway, and Yingkou Port Shugang Railway, and maintains close connections with the central urban agglomeration of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, and eastern Inner Mongolia. It is an important international trade and modern logistics hub in Northeast China. At present, Yingkou Port has formed a port layout mainly composed of Bayuquan Port Area, Xianrendao Port Area, and Yingkou Old Port Area. Among them, Bayuquan Port Area is the core operating area of the port, with large deep-water berths, focusing on the development of container, ore, coal, grain, steel and commodity vehicle roll on/roll off transportation. It is an important container and bulk cargo port area in Northeast China; The Xianren Island Port Area mainly undertakes the transportation of energy such as crude oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and liquid chemicals, and has built a large-scale specialized liquid bulk cargo terminal; The old port area of Yingkou mainly serves urban logistics, general cargo and nearshore transportation businesses, and multiple port areas jointly build a modern comprehensive port system. As an important member of Liaoning Port Group, Yingkou Port has comprehensive service capabilities in container transportation, bulk cargo, energy transportation, commodity vehicle roll on/roll off, grain transit, bonded warehousing, and international logistics. Among them, ports are important transit bases for grain exports and imported ores in Northeast China, as well as important logistics support platforms for industries such as steel, equipment manufacturing, automobiles, and petrochemicals, providing comprehensive port and shipping support for the development of industries in Liaoning and the hinterland of Northeast China. In terms of route layout, Yingkou Port has established a shipping network covering domestic coastal areas, Northeast Asia, and major international ports. The port has opened international routes to Japan, South Korea, Russia, and Southeast Asia, and maintains stable connections with major domestic ports through container shipping. At the same time, relying on the China Europe freight train, sea rail intermodal transport, and multimodal transport system, Yingkou Port actively builds the Northeast Sea Land Corridor, promotes the coordinated development of logistics between the port and the Northeast hinterland, Mongolia, and the Russian Far East, and further enhances its international logistics service capabilities. In recent years, Yingkou Port has continued to promote the construction of smart and green ports, continuously improving automated loading and unloading equipment, digital logistics platforms, and intelligent port and shipping management systems, and enhancing port operation efficiency and service levels. Relying on the port integration operation advantages of Liaoning Port Group and the overall revitalization strategy of Northeast China, Yingkou Port has developed into an important international deep-water seaport in Northeast China, as well as an important comprehensive shipping hub connecting Northeast Asia, serving the "the Belt and Road" and the construction of the Northeast land and sea corridor.
