The Port of Laiwu is located in Laiwu District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. It is an important component of the inland waterway transportation system north of Jining on the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal and a regional comprehensive port in the layout of inland ports in Shandong Province. The port relies on the Xiaoqing River Resumption Project and the regional comprehensive transportation network, mainly undertaking the transportation of goods such as building materials, steel, coal, ore, grain, and containers.
