Port Introduction

The Port of Daya Bay is located in the Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone of Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to the South China Sea. It is an important part of Huizhou Port and an important deep-water natural harbor in southern China. The port, relying on superior natural harbor conditions and the advantageous location of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, has developed into a modern comprehensive port integrating energy transportation, liquid bulk cargo, containers, ore, coal, and port industrial logistics. It is an important energy and industrial logistics hub in eastern Guangdong. Port Area Layout: Daya Bay Port is constructed according to a specialized port area layout, mainly including: Container operation area: responsible for domestic and foreign container transportation and near ocean route business. Liquid bulk cargo terminal: serving the transportation of crude oil, refined oil, LNG, and liquid chemical products. Bulk cargo terminal: undertakes the loading and unloading of bulk cargo such as coal, iron ore, and grain. Lingang Logistics Park: Provides bonded warehousing, logistics distribution, supply chain, and port and shipping supporting services. Airline routes and logistics networks Daya Bay Port relies on the Pearl River Delta port cluster and the logistics system of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area to form a complete transportation network. International routes: connecting major energy transportation routes in Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, the Middle East, and around the world. Coastal transportation: covering major domestic ports such as Guangzhou Port, Shenzhen Port, Zhanjiang Port, Xiamen Port, Ningbo Zhoushan Port, and Shanghai Port. Sea rail intermodal transportation: relying on Huizhou Railway and Shugang Railway, serving the distribution of goods in southern and central China. High sea intermodal transportation: radiates the eastern part of the Pearl River Delta and the industrial hinterland of northeastern Guangdong through highways such as Guanghui and Shenshan. Port advantages Daya Bay Port has excellent natural deep-water harbors, which can meet the berthing needs of large bulk carriers, oil tankers, and container ships. It is an important component of the national energy transportation system and the layout of Guangdong coastal ports. Relying on the Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Park, Energy Base, and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area industrial cluster, the port has significant advantages in energy logistics, petrochemical supply chain, port related manufacturing, and international logistics services. It has become an important modern deep-water port and comprehensive logistics hub in southern China.
