Port Introduction

The Port of Caofeidian is located in Caofeidian District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It is an important part of Tangshan Port and an important deep-water comprehensive port in northern China. Relying on the natural deep-water coastline of Bohai Bay and the well-developed port infrastructure, the port has formed a comprehensive port and shipping system integrating the transportation of ore, coal, containers, crude oil, liquid chemicals, and bulk cargo. It is an important international logistics hub and bulk commodity distribution center in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. Port Area Layout Caofeidian Port implements a specialized port area layout, mainly including: Ore Port Area: an important import iron ore unloading base in China, capable of docking ultra large ore ships. Coal Port Area: undertakes energy transportation tasks such as transporting coal from the north to the south and coal from the west to the east. Container Port Area: Carry out domestic and foreign trade container transportation and sea rail intermodal transportation business. Liquid bulk cargo port area: serving the crude oil, liquid chemical, and energy industries. Multi purpose port area: mainly used for transporting goods such as steel, machinery and equipment, grain, and engineering equipment. Airline routes and logistics networks Caofeidian Port, relying on the Bohai Rim Port Group, has established a shipping network covering both domestic coastal areas and international markets. International routes: connecting Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia and other regions, and reaching major ports around the world through international transit. Coastal transportation: Maintain stable route connections with ports such as Shanghai Port, Ningbo Zhoushan Port, Qingdao Port, and Tianjin Port. Sea rail intermodal transportation: relying on the railway network, a multimodal transportation system covering the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, North China, and inland areas is formed. Port advantages Caofeidian Port has natural deep-water port resources and a large specialized terminal, with the ability to receive and unload ultra large ships. It has outstanding advantages in the transportation of bulk cargo such as iron ore and coal. Relying on the port industry, bonded logistics, and sea rail intermodal transportation system, it has become an important modern comprehensive logistics hub for the coordinated development of Beijing Tianjin Hebei and the North China region.
