Port Introduction

Binhai Port is located on the coast of the Yellow Sea in Binhai County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. It is an important component of Jiangsu's coastal port layout and one of the important port areas in the construction of Yancheng Port's "one port, four districts". The port relies on the deep-water coastline resources of the Yellow Sea and undertakes important functions such as energy transportation along the Jiangsu coast, industrial logistics near the port, and modern marine economic development. In recent years, with the continuous promotion of Jiangsu's coastal development strategy, Binhai Port has gradually developed into a comprehensive coastal port integrating port transportation, port related industries, energy security, and modern logistics. The port area has good deep-water shoreline conditions, which can be used to construct large deep-water berths and form a coordinated development pattern with the Binhai Port Industrial Park and Jiangsu Coastal Development Zone. The land transportation network connects northern Jiangsu and the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta through the Shenhai Expressway, Yanluo Expressway, National Highway 228, and railway transportation network, providing logistics support for industries such as coal, electricity, chemical, new materials, and equipment manufacturing. Comprehensive bulk cargo operation area The port area has a large bulk cargo terminal that can carry out loading and unloading operations for bulk goods such as coal, ore, building materials, and steel. It is an important energy and material distribution center in northern Jiangsu. Liquid Chemical and Energy Terminal Relying on the Lingang Industrial Park, the port area is equipped with dedicated berths for liquid chemicals and energy, providing raw material transportation and warehousing services for the petrochemical, new materials, and new energy industries, forming a coordinated development pattern between port and industry. Lingang Industrial Supporting Zone Binhai Port focuses on serving coastal industrial parks, supporting the construction of warehousing logistics, bonded logistics, and modern supply chain service systems, providing comprehensive logistics support for Jiangsu's coastal industrial clusters. Airline routes and intermodal networks Binhai Port relies on its location advantage in the Yellow Sea to build a comprehensive transportation network covering the domestic coastal areas and Northeast Asia. Coastal transportation network The port area has formed a coastal transportation network connecting major domestic ports such as Tianjin, Qingdao, Rizhao, Lianyungang, Shanghai, Ningbo, and Guangzhou, providing stable channels for the transportation of energy, raw materials, and industrial products. Haihe Intermodal Transport System Relying on the Jiangsu coastal port cluster and inland waterway system, goods can be transported by sea, road, and inland waterway through ports, improving logistics efficiency in northern Jiangsu and the Huai River Basin. Multimodal transportation on the high seas The port area relies on the highway and railway transportation system to achieve rapid logistics connections between the port and the Yangtze River Delta, northern Jiangsu, and northern China regions, providing transportation support for the port industry and regional economic development. With the advantage of deep-water coastline along the Jiangsu coast, the integrated operation system of Yancheng Port, and the agglomeration effect of port related industries, Binhai Port has developed into an important modern comprehensive seaport along the Jiangsu coast. It is also an important supporting port for energy transportation, industrial logistics, and coastal development in the northern Jiangsu region.
