Port Introduction
Changdianhekou Port is located in Changdian Town, Kuandian Manchu Autonomous Prefecture, Dandong City, Liaoning Province. It is an important border river port in the Yalu River Basin and one of the important local ports facing North Korea in Northeast China. The port relies on the natural waterway of the Yalu River and the advantageous location of the China North Korea border to undertake functions such as border trade, material transportation, and port clearance between the two countries, playing an important role in economic cooperation on the eastern border of Liaoning. The surrounding area of the port is connected to the urban area of Dandong and the eastern region of Liaoning through highways, which can be linked with railway and road transportation systems, providing logistics support for the transportation of border trade commodities, agricultural and sideline products, building materials, and daily necessities. Border Freight Terminal The port area has border freight berths and loading and unloading facilities, mainly serving the transportation of goods for Sino North Korean border trade, and can carry out loading and unloading operations for bulk and general cargo. Port clearance facilities The port area is equipped with customs, border inspection, and joint inspection facilities to provide support for cross-border cargo inspection, port supervision, and border trade transportation, and to undertake regional port clearance services.
