PORT ANTONIO

Radio communication is conducted through Kingston Radio with the call sign "6YI". The port is located on the north coast of Jamaica, 6.70 meters northwest of Cape Morent. The port consists of two ports, east and west. The water depth at the entrance is 36.58 meters. The water depth at the 2.5-meter chain in front of the port drops to 9.14 meters. The anchorage is good. The necessary documents for ships entering the port can be found in Kingston. Port service facilities: no ship repair, dry dock, towing, and sewage discharge. The nearest airport is 9.6 kilometers away from the port. Donggang, railway station, suitable for ships with a draft of 10.6 meters or less. Xigang, a 79 meter long pier with a front water depth of 7.9 meters, mainly docks for ships carrying bananas. One protruding embankment, 65.22 meters long, with a water depth of 10.97 meters at the forefront, and capable of accommodating patrol boats under 67 meters in length.
