The coal export dedicated port area in the southeast of the town is called HAY POINT, which is about 8 nautical miles away from the town. It has an inverted "L" - shaped protruding embankment extending northeast from the land bank of the cape. There are two coal export berths with a water depth of 17 meters each, which can accommodate ships of 100000-150000 tons each. There are two coal loading machines with an efficiency of 4000 tons and 6000 tons per hour on the dock, and the annual throughput capacity is over 30 million tons. The port was built in 1976.
