Port Introduction

West Coast commercial port in the United States. Located in central California, on the east coast of the middle section of San Francisco Bay, there is a cross sea bridge that connects San Francisco to the west. North to Portland 661 nautical miles, Seattle 804 nautical miles, south to Los Angeles 369 nautical miles, Balboa 3248 nautical miles, west to Hawaii 2103 nautical miles, to Shanghai 5403 nautical miles. The hectares are distributed in the southwest of Auckland, divided into outer harbor, inner harbor, and central harbor. The outer port is located along the coast between the two western protruding Guam islands south of the San Francisco Oakland Bridge, with about 30 berths, mainly container terminals leased by various shipping companies, totaling 18 container berths, making it the largest container loading and unloading area in the port. China and Hong Kong are located along the coast south of the above port areas and on the north bank of the Oakland Fjord estuary. Most of them are naval supply terminals, with only over 10 berths belonging to the transportation sector, including the US President's Container Terminal. The inner harbor is located on the north bank of the Auckland Gap, with Charles Howard Container Terminal, Grover Street Pier, 9th Street Pier, and others. There are over 60 deep-water berths in Hong Kong, about two-thirds of which are public terminals, making it one of the world's 20 major container loading and unloading ports. In 1990, 1.12 million TEUs and 13.4 million tons were loaded and unloaded. More than half of them are transit containers crossing the North American continent.
