Port Introduction
Located on the northeast side of Bantry Bay on the southwest coast of Ireland (full name: IRELAND), it is a crude oil import and export port in southern Ireland. The port has a temperate maritime climate, dominated by southwest winds. The average temperature in the coldest month is 4-7 ℃, and the average temperature in the hottest month is 12-15 ℃. The average annual rainfall is about 1000mm. The average tidal range is 4.4m for high tide and 1.3m for low tide. The main dock berth in the port area is GULF OF TERMINAL, located on the north side of WHIDDY Island. It is a 365m long protruding embankment with 2 berths, and the outer berth has a water depth of 30m, with a maximum reliable capacity of 312000 deadweight tons for super tankers. The inner berth has a water depth of 27.4 meters and can also accommodate oil tankers with a load capacity of 300000 tons. Another Bantry Pier is a shallow water dock used for loading and unloading general cargo. In addition to crude oil, the main import and export goods include coal, wood, fertilizers, and miscellaneous goods.
