Indonesian commercial port. Located on the northeast coast of Manado City, the capital of North Sulawesi Province in the northern part of Sulawesi Island, northeast of the country, it faces the Maluku Strait to the east. It is about 420 nautical miles northwest of Zamboanga in the Philippines, about 1260 nautical miles southwest of Tanjung Pele Port, and about 1700 nautical miles southwest of Tanjung Pelu Port. The port is protected by Lombe Island, and the port area is located on the west side of the Lombe Strait. There is a protruding dike that extends eastward, forming a harbor pool in the north. The total length of the west and north bank dock lines of the harbor pool is 455 meters, with a water depth of 5.18 meters along the edge for domestic ships to dock. The total length of the protruding shoreline along the edge is 682 meters, with a water depth of 4.88-10.67 meters along the edge for ocean going ships to dock. There is one oil terminal used by domestic ships in the west of Tudi, which is used for transporting coconut oil and imported petroleum. To the east of the harbor is a shipyard and a naval pier. There are nearly 10 large and medium-sized berths in Hong Kong, making it the largest port in the northwest of Sulawesi. It mainly exports agricultural products such as coconut oil, coconut oil, coffee, timber, and imports petroleum and general merchandise.
