Port Introduction
The Port of Taizhou (UN/LOCODE: CGAO) is located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in central Jiangsu Province. It is an important component of the Jiangsu Yangtze River port system and an important comprehensive logistics hub for the Yangtze River Economic Belt and Yangtze River urban agglomeration. The port is located between the Shanghai International Shipping Center and the Nanjing metropolitan area, connecting Nanjing Port to the west and Nantong Port to the east, and facing Changzhou and Zhenjiang across the river. It has superior deep-water resources along the Yangtze River and is an important gateway for the manufacturing industry in central Jiangsu to connect with the international shipping network. Relying on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, the port can accommodate ships of over 10000 tons in the river and sea all year round, and through comprehensive transportation networks such as the Beijing Shanghai Expressway, Shanghai Shaanxi Expressway, and Yantai Wuxi Changyi Railway, it forms a modern logistics system with coordinated development of "water, public transportation, and railway", providing stable and efficient logistics support for the advanced manufacturing industry in central Jiangsu. In recent years, with the promotion of port integration reform in Jiangsu Province, Taizhou Port has gradually formed a pattern of coordinated development among multiple specialized port areas. Gaogang Port Area Gaogang Port Area is the most important comprehensive operational port area in the entire Taizhou Port, and also the main port area corresponding to CNGAO. The port area has modern container berths, multi-purpose berths, and a general cargo terminal, which can handle the loading and unloading of containers, major equipment, steel, machinery, automotive parts, and other goods. It is an important gateway for foreign trade logistics in central Jiangsu. Yong'an Port Area We will focus on developing the transportation of miscellaneous goods, bulk goods, and large-scale engineering equipment, while also undertaking the transportation of raw materials for regional industrial enterprises. Pharmaceutical High tech Zone Port Area Based on the industrial foundation of China Medical City, we focus on providing logistics services for industries such as biomedicine, high-end manufacturing, and new materials, and have the ability to transport cold chain logistics and high value-added goods.
