The Port of Ma'anshan (UN/LOCODE: CNMAS) is located in the eastern part of Anhui Province, on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is an important port along the Yangtze River determined by the National Inland Waterway and Port Layout Plan, and also an important open gateway for Anhui Province to connect with the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. The port is adjacent to Nanjing to the east and Wuhu to the west, located in the core area of the Nanjing metropolitan area and the Wanjiang urban belt. Relying on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, it has formed an important logistics node connecting the east and west, and linking the coastal and inland areas. With its deep water coastline resources and comprehensive transportation system, Ma'anshan Port has become an important supporting port for Anhui Province's steel, equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, and modern logistics industries. In recent years, the port has continued to promote the construction of smart ports, relying on the integrated operation of Anhui Port Group to accelerate the construction of a modern comprehensive port integrating river sea intermodal transportation, multimodal transportation, and bonded logistics. Zhengpu Port Area (Core Flagship) Zhengpu Port Area is the core port area for the modernization construction of Ma'anshan Port, and also an important port carrier for the Ma'anshan Linkage Innovation Zone in Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone. The port area has modern container berths, multi-purpose berths, and bulk cargo berths, which undertake the transportation of foreign trade containers, major equipment, mechanical equipment, new energy products, and high value-added goods. It is an important gateway for Anhui's eastward opening up. Cihu Port Area Cihu Port Area mainly serves Ma Steel and the surrounding steel industry, with a focus on transporting iron ore, coal, steel, and metallurgical raw materials. It is an important steel logistics base along the Yangtze River. Jiuhua Port Area Focus on developing general cargo, multi-purpose transportation, and modern logistics services, serving regional equipment manufacturing and the development of port related industries. Yushan Port Area Undertake the transportation of some urban production and daily necessities, as well as comprehensive bulk cargo business, and form complementary advantages with other port areas. The port area will comprehensively promote the construction of electronic ports, intelligent gates, paperless customs declaration, and smart logistics platforms, continuously improving the operational efficiency and comprehensive service capabilities of the port.
