Port Introduction

The Port of Jiangkou is located in Jiangkou Street, Fengkai County, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. It is situated at the confluence of the main stream of Xijiang River and Hejiang River, and is an important inland port on the golden waterway of Xijiang River. It is also an important water transportation node connecting western Guangdong and Guangxi. Relying on the Xijiang high-grade waterway and the the Pearl River water system shipping network, the port is mainly responsible for bulk cargo, building materials, mineral products, grain, agricultural products and regional logistics transportation, serving the industrial development in the border area between Guangdong and Guangxi. Port Area Layout Jiangkou Port mainly focuses on comprehensive freight transportation functions, including: Comprehensive operation area: responsible for loading and unloading miscellaneous and general cargo. Bulk cargo terminal: serving the transportation of bulk goods such as sand and gravel, mineral products, cement, and grain. Logistics supporting area: providing comprehensive logistics services such as warehousing, transit, and distribution. Industrial supporting dock: serving the logistics needs of building materials, agriculture, and local manufacturing industries in Fengkai County. Airline routes and logistics networks Relying on the golden waterway of Xijiang River, Jiangkou Port forms an inland river transportation system covering the the Pearl River basin. Xijiang route: connecting important ports such as Wuzhou Port, Zhaoqing Port, Yunfu Port, Foshan Port, and Guangzhou Port. River sea intermodal transportation: Goods can be connected to domestic and international shipping networks through coastal hubs such as Guangzhou Port and Shenzhen Port. Public water intermodal transportation: relying on the Guangzhou Kunming Expressway, National Highway G321, and regional road network, radiating to western Guangdong, eastern Guangxi, and the Pearl River Delta region. Regional logistics: focuses on serving the transportation of building materials, mineral resources, agricultural products, and industrial raw materials. Port advantages Jiangkou Port is located at the confluence of Xijiang and Hejiang rivers, with obvious geographical advantages. It is an important inland port and regional logistics node in Fengkai County.
