Port Introduction
The Port of Doumen is located in Doumen District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, on the west bank of the the Pearl River Estuary and along the Modaomen Waterway. It is one of the important inland river ports of Zhuhai Port and also a national first-class port open to the outside world. Relying on the golden waterway of Xijiang River and the regional advantages of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, the port mainly undertakes the logistics transportation of containers, groceries, bulk cargo and domestic and foreign trade, serves the manufacturing industry in Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and the west bank of the Pearl River, and is an important river sea intermodal transportation node on the west bank of the the Pearl River. Port Area Layout Doumen Port adopts a comprehensive port area layout, mainly including: Container operation area: responsible for domestic and foreign trade container loading and unloading, as well as branch transportation business. Comprehensive freight terminal: serving the transportation of steel, building materials, grain, and miscellaneous goods. Logistics warehousing area: providing warehousing, transit, distribution, and supply chain logistics services. Port supporting area: equipped with customs supervision, inspection, and comprehensive port service facilities. Airline routes and logistics networks Relying on the the Pearl River water system and the shipping system of Zhuhai Port, Doumen Port forms a transportation network covering the the Pearl River basin and coastal ports.
