The Port of Damaiyu is located in Damaiyu Street, Yuhuan City, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is situated on the south bank of Leqing Bay and faces Wenzhou Port across the sea. It is an important port area of Taizhou Port and the only national first-class open water transport port in Zhejiang Province located in a county-level city. The port has excellent natural deep-water coastline and sheltered conditions, mainly undertaking container, liquid bulk cargo, crude oil, natural gas, coal, ore, and passenger and freight roll on/roll off transportation. It is an important comprehensive deep-water port along the southeast coast of Zhejiang. Port Area Layout Damaiyu Port is constructed according to a specialized development model, mainly including: Container operation area: responsible for domestic and foreign trade container transportation and branch route business. Liquid bulk cargo terminal: serving the transportation of energy such as crude oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and liquid chemicals. Bulk cargo terminal: undertakes the loading and unloading of bulk cargo such as coal and ore. Passenger and freight roll on/roll off terminal: providing passenger transportation, roll on/roll off transportation, and comprehensive logistics services. Airline routes and logistics networks Relying on Taizhou Port and the coastal port cluster in Zhejiang, Damaiyu Port has formed a complete sea land intermodal transportation system. Coastal routes: connecting major domestic ports such as Ningbo Zhoushan Port, Wenzhou Port, Shanghai Port, Xiamen Port, etc. International routes: Open up near ocean and international container transportation, and have the conditions for passenger and freight transportation to Taiwan. High sea intermodal transportation: relying on the Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway double track, G228 National Highway, and Shugang Highway, radiating to the industrial hinterland of southern Zhejiang and northern Fujian.
