Port Introduction
Brazilian energy throughput port. Located along the southeastern Atlantic coast of the country, southeast of S ã o Paulo, using the West Zone 3 standard. The maximum draft is 8.84 meters. The load density of water is 1025. Tide range of 1 meter. The prevailing south wind. Compulsory pilotage. There is no radio station or very high frequency in the port, but contact can be made with Brazilian oil terminals or tugboat service stations. Wireless telegrams can be transmitted through Santos Radio or Saint Sebastian Radio. The port has no holidays and operates 24 hours a day. Port service facilities include ship repair, refueling, dry dock, small boats, towing, medical treatment, sewage treatment, fresh water supply, provisions, and repatriation. The port has four berths, which are 90 meters, 90 meters, 150 meters, and 150 meters long respectively, with a draft of 5 meters to 8.84 meters. One roll on/roll off ship berth and three general cargo berths are available for container ships to dock.
