Port Introduction
Brazilian iron ore export port. Located on the east coast of San Marcos Bay in the northeast of the country, about 9 nautical miles east of St. Louis. 470 nautical miles west of Belen Port and 4058 nautical miles southeast of Southampton Port. There is an 890 nautical mile electrified railway in the southwest Dakarayas iron mine. The port was initially built in the 1970s, and by the early 1980s, it had four berths stretching north and south, each 164 meters long and with a front water depth of 12 meters. There are cranes on the dock, and the railway leads directly to the dock. In the 1980s, a 280000 ton ore export terminal was built in Zhonggang North, and a modern large-scale steel plant was also built nearby. Output ore, input oil, coal, grain, machinery, general merchandise, etc.
