Lom é is located in the northwest of Benin Bay on the southwest coast of the Republic of Togo (full name: the Republic of Togo), which is the largest seaport in Togo. It is the capital and national political, economic, and cultural center of Togo. The tide rises to 1.5 meters. There are two breakwaters surrounding the harbor, with the main breakwater being 1720 meters long; The east breakwater is 950 meters long. There are various types of loading and unloading equipment, including mobile cranes, heavy cranes, container cranes, forklifts, unloaders, tugboats, and roll on/roll off facilities. Among them, the maximum lifting capacity of mobile cranes is 60 tons, the maximum power of tugboats is 2200 kW, and there are also oil pipelines with diameters of 150-200mm for loading and unloading. The port area has a warehouse area of approximately 26000 square meters and a storage yard area of 130000 square meters. Loading and unloading efficiency: 1000 tons of mineral sand per hour, 1100 tons of crude oil per hour, 600 tons of kerosene per hour, 800 tons of gasoline per hour, and 900 tons of diesel per hour. The dock has railway lines for direct loading and unloading. The anchorage of the large ship is at a depth of 15 meters. The Hong Kong Free Trade Zone was established in 1975 with an area of 500000 square meters. The main export goods are phosphate, cocoa, coffee, cotton, and cement, while the imported goods mainly include machinery, vehicles, petroleum, cotton, food, and medicine. Among them, phosphate accounts for about 40% of the total export value. Overtime is allowed during holidays, but overtime pay must be paid.
