Port Introduction

Formerly known as "Ma Su". Port of Butuan Bay on the north coast of Mindanao Island, Philippines. When using the standard of East 8 district. The maximum draft of Masu is 15.24 meters, the maximum draft of Naxibit is 7.92 meters, and the maximum draft of Wuduan is 3.66 meters. The load density of water is 1010-1012. The rising tide flows southward, while the falling tide flows northward. The prevailing winds are northeast and southwest. Mandatory pilotage, ocean going vessels should report their estimated arrival time 24 hours before arrival, and coastal vessels should report their estimated arrival time 12 hours before arrival. There is no communication radio station at the port. There are no restrictions on entering Massao Port. The maximum length and maximum width of the ships entering NASIPIT and BUTUAN ports are 167.64 meters and 19.81 meters respectively. The port service facilities include refueling, small motorboats, medical services, towing, sewage disposal, fresh water, supplies, and repatriation, but there are no ship repairs or dry docks. The Indonesian consul is in Davao City, and the Malaysian consul is in Zamboanga City. The nearest airport is located in Wuduan City, 7 kilometers away from the port. The Masao Port Area covers an area of 2185 square meters, with a pier length of 150 meters, width of 15 meters, and draft of 3.6 meters. The Butuan Port Area covers an area of 1614 square meters, with a pier length of 92 meters, width of 9 meters, and front draft of 3.66 meters. The port area of NASIPIT covers 2617 square meters, with a dock length of 84 meters and a width of 12 meters, and a front draft of 7.92 meters. The Port of Maso has three oil tanker berths with a total length of 150 meters and an estimated average low tide draft of 7 meters.
