Port Introduction
The Arabian Sea extends into the Makran coast of the Iran Pakistan border. It is approximately 32 kilometers (20 miles) long and 16 kilometers (10 miles) wide. The Dashtiari River and Dasht River flow into Gwadar City in Pakistan from the northwest and northeast respectively, about 48 kilometers (30 miles) east of the bay.
