Located at the top of the northern shore of the Oslofjord on the southeast coast of Norway (full name: THE KINGDOM OF NORWAY), adjacent to the northeast side of the SKAGERRAK Strait, it is the second largest port in Norway. It was founded in 1048 and became the capital of Norway from 1814. The container terminal can accommodate ships of 25000 deadweight tons, while the oil terminal can accommodate oil tankers of up to 80000 deadweight tons. Loading and unloading efficiency: It can unload 150 tons of grain per hour. The warehouse and cargo shed have an area of 320000 square meters, and there are also two five story garages. The anchorage of the large ship is good, with a maximum water depth of 20 meters in the western port area. In 1992, the container throughput was 106000 TEUs, and the annual cargo throughput capacity was about 20 million tons. The main export goods include pulp, cardboard, chemical raw materials, fur, explosives, machinery, daily necessities, and chemical products. The main import goods include cotton textiles, fuel, grains, coffee, textile fibers, and transportation equipment. More than half of the imported goods in the country are imported through Hong Kong.
