Port Introduction
Nigerian ports. Located on the east side of the Nigeria River Delta, with a water carrying density of 1025. The tidal range is about 1.0 meter. Compulsory navigation and communication use the VHF 16 channel radio. The port service facilities include refueling, small motorboats, medical care, towing, fresh water, supplies, repatriation, without ship repair, dry dock, and sewage discharge. At low tide, the dredged sandbar is 11.2 meters deep and the river is 8.8 meters deep. The oil tanker pier serves refineries and can accommodate oil tankers of up to 35000 deadweight tons.
