Port Introduction
River ports in the northeast of the Netherlands. When using the standard of East Zone 1 in winter; Summer Standard Time in East Zone 2. The maximum draft is 12 meters. The load density of water is nearly 1010. The tidal range is 2 meters, with prevailing westerly winds. Refer to DELFZJL Port for guidance and communication methods. The entrance channel (Dukgart Canal) has a depth of 12 meters and ships with a draft of 12 meters can only enter the port during high tide. The plan may increase the draft to 13 meters. Ships can also anchor near the west breakwater at a depth of 16 meters. The port service facilities are relatively complete, including ship repair, refueling, dry dock, small motorboats, medical care, towing, fresh water, supplies, repatriation, and no pollution discharge. The waters of the port area are divided into several harbor pools. The Dukgart Canal has a depth of 14 meters at the entrance and 12 meters in the distance. The bottom of the breakwater is 300 meters wide and 14 meters deep, with a minimum width of 275 meters and a water depth of 12 meters. At the end of the canal is a curved harbor with a diameter of 500 meters and a water depth of 12 meters. To the east of the harbor is a harbor dedicated to the berthing of oil supply ships, measuring 600 meters in length, 200 meters in width, and 17 meters in depth. To the west of the turning harbor, there is a harbor with a length of 1200 meters, a width of 250-300 meters, and a depth of 14-17 meters. A dock is under construction south of the harbor, measuring 600 meters in length and 300 meters in width. Specializes in handling groceries and individual goods. The port is equipped with 2 20 ton cranes and 1 roll on/roll off elevator. The Ema Port to the south is under construction, with a harbor basin that is 600 meters long and 130 meters wide, and the water depth has been dredged to 10 meters.
