Port Introduction
Tampico is located on the left bank of the Panuco River in northeastern Mexico, 13 kilometers away from the Gulf of Mexico, and can be reached directly by sea vessels. Within a radius of 160 kilometers, there are four major oil fields that are the largest centers for oil extraction and processing in the country. There are also industries such as mechanical repair, shipbuilding, clothing, and chemistry. It is the largest oil and most modern port in Mexico, with oil pipelines leading to Monterey and Posarica. There are a total of 17 docks for exporting oil, ore, agricultural products, etc.
