Port Introduction

Japanese commercial port. Located at the top of Sagami Bay on the northeast bank of the Seto Inland River, west of the port city, it is 10 nautical miles east of Himeji Port, 19 nautical miles east of Kakugawa Port, 40 nautical miles west of Kobe West Port, 68 nautical miles away from the Kii Waterway connection point, and 44 nautical miles west of Mizushima Port. 207 nautical miles away from Simen Port. It is the southwest sea gateway of Hyogo Prefecture. The port area is mainly distributed on the northwest coast of Xiangsheng Bay, south of the cross bay bridge in the northern part of the bay, with a water depth of 5-7 meters, a tidal rise of 1.3-1.5 meters, and an average sea surface of 1.0 meter. There are 12 berths distributed from north to south at the dock, with berth 1 being 266 meters long and capable of accommodating ships with a draft of 7 meters; 2. Berth 3 is a small protruding embankment, each 175 meters long, capable of accommodating ships with a draft of 5.5 meters on both sides; Berth 4 is 284 meters long along the shore and can also accommodate vessels with a draft of 5.5 meters; 5. Berth 6 is dock type; 7. Berths 8, 9, and 10 are located on the east and west sides of the south pier, which is 340 meters long. The east side can accommodate ships with draft of 7.7 meters and 6.5 meters, while the west side can only accommodate ships with draft of 5.5 meters; 11. The berth on the 12th shore ranges from 230 meters to 350 meters, with the latter capable of accommodating ships with a draft of 7.5 meters, while the former can only accommodate ships with a draft of 5.5 meters. In addition, there are three shipyard dock style harbor pools in the port area, located between berths 8-9 and west of berth 12, which can accommodate the repair and construction of vessels with a load capacity of 14000 to 300000 tons.
