Port Introduction
Port on the southern Indian Ocean coast of Bali, Indonesia. When using the standard of East 7 district. The maximum draft is 5.5 meters. The load density of water is 1025. Tide range 3.0. Southeast winds prevail from April to September. Compulsory pilotage (6:00-18:00 daily). Communication is carried out on the VHF channel 16 of the radio. See Ambon during holidays. Working hours are from 8:00 to 14:00. Port service facilities include: small boats, medical care, fresh water, supply, repatriation, non repair, refueling, dry dock, towing, feeding, and sewage facilities. The longest vessel entering the port is 110 meters. There are three docks in the port: Pier 1 is a 45 meter long wooden wharf with a draft of 5.5 meters; Cement Pier No.2, 78 meters long with a draft of 5.5 meters; The wooden wharf of Pier 3 is 8 meters long and is only used for docking small boats on the inland river. Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are capable of accommodating oil tankers.
