Port Introduction
A port along the Timor Sea coast in northern Australia. The maximum draft is 8.8 meters, and the load density of water is 1025. During high tide, the tide height is 7.3 meters, while during low tide, it is 5.5 meters. Northwest winds prevail in summer, and southeast winds prevail in winter. Compulsory pilotage. Communication is carried out using radio very high frequency channels 6, 12, and 16. Notify the port director 48 hours and 24 hours in advance of the expected arrival time of the vessel. Pilots can be dispatched at any time from March to December, and must be notified 2 weeks in advance for other months. Working hours are 7:30-18:00. Ships can only enter the port during the day, and shipyards cannot exceed 187 meters. The port service facilities include small boats, medical care, fresh water, supplies, and repatriation, but there are no ship repair, refueling, dry dock, towing, or sewage facilities. The port terminal is 450 meters long, with 2 berths and a water depth of 9.1 meters at the front. It exports grains and ores.
