Port Introduction

A port along the Paran á River in Argentina. When adopting the standard of West Zone 4. No tidal changes. No prevailing wind direction. The port is severely congested. The maximum draft is 8.20 meters. The load density of water is 1000. Compulsory pilotage. The allocation of berths for collision pads must be arranged according to the order in which the ships arrive. Grain ships have grain berths. If a single cargo exceeds 2.5 tons, the loading and unloading costs will increase. Working hours are from 06:00 to 18:00, and overtime is allowed. There are consular offices in the port cities of Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, Ecuador, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Switzerland, Uruguay, and Yugoslavia. The service facilities provided by the port include ship repair, refueling, dry dock, small boats, medical care, fresh water, supplies, repatriation, and no towing and sewage facilities. There are 10 sea vessel berths in the port area, most of which are grain berths, with specialized loading and unloading facilities and a barn with a capacity of nearly 200000 tons. These berths are also used to dock mineral sand ships and general cargo ships. The vast majority of the exported goods are grains, bagged sugar, processed rapeseed, iron ore, etc. There is a refrigerated cargo berth for transporting frozen pork and canned pork in split packaging. There are four warehouses leased to Bolivia as transit storage areas for the country, mainly storing exported bagged sugar, cotton, rice, wood, and some imported goods. There are railway tracks and bulk cargo yards at the forefront of the dock.
