On October 30, a fire suddenly broke out on the dry cargo ship "DE MI", which was moored in the port of Petpavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The fire spread over an area of about 100 square meters, and the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies immediately responded.


The emergency response team dispatched 7 pieces of equipment and 45 personnel to control the fire. Subsequently, the authorities confirmed that the fire had been extinguished, and there were no casualties.


According to the navigation track, the DE MI had called at ports in China.


The "DE MI" is dry cargo ship built in 2012, flying the flag of Sao Tome and Principe. The ship is 70 meters long and 13 meters wide


At present, the cause of the fire has not been announced.
