On June 17, 2025, Pacific International Lines (PIL) launched its newly developed weekly direct service between North China and Indonesia (NCI Service), with a maiden call at Tianjin Port.

The NCI Service follows a loop rotation of Tianjin – Qingdao – Xiamen – Singapore – Jakarta – Surabaya – Singapore – Tianjin, providing a stable and direct schedule connecting North China with key hub ports in both eastern and western Indonesia.

On June 24, the maiden vessel “Kota Sejati” successfully called at Xiamen Hairun Terminal. A traditional lion dance ceremony was held by the Yuanhai Terminal team to celebrate the vessel's first call at a Chinese port along the NCI route, with crew members also receiving onboard greetings.

On July 5, the vessel arrived in Jakarta, where PIL’s Indonesia team and terminal operator PSA International co-hosted a commemorative ceremony for the first port call in Indonesia.

On July 8, the vessel reached Surabaya, completing the verification of NCI’s full bidirectional service in both China and Indonesia.
