Jade International, Inc. was established in November 1987. Jade is a partner member of United Shipping, Inc., and through its' associates, is a comprehensive freight management company with offices on six continents. The group employs traffic specialists in customs brokerage, air, ocean and intermodal freight control. We have expanded the concept of physical movement of cargo to encompass all services involved in the international movement of freight, including high-speed communications and documentation productions, designed to meet the specific needs of the companies engaging in international trade in the new millennium.
Our offices prepare all documentation and provide fast turnaround of documents for improved cash flow. We have the ability to prepare traffic management reports. We also negotiate direct carrier and NVOCC rates for our ocean freight accounts as well as direct or consolidated rates for our air freight accounts.
We have ocean and air specialists who possess an in-depth knowledge about movement of goods from an inland origin point to the port of export, port loading procedures, types of ocean/air carriers and rates, export documentation, consular requirements, banking procedures and all related details.
Utilizing our overseas agents, we are able to arrange through movement of your shipments from factory or warehouse to consignee's delivery locations, complete with customs clearance, warehousing and cargo insurance.
Jade offers in-house seminars and training, at the customer's facility or ours, tailored to meet any specific needs. Jade periodically presents compliance seminars to large groups of customers, instructing on U.S. Customs regulations, banking terms for letters of credit, etc.
As well as being a certified member in C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism), Jade International, Inc. is registered to submit advanced manifest information on import cargo, via AMS, and all export clearances through AES.
