IJCM Logistic (Macau) Limited (hereinafter refer to as IJCM) is founded & constituted after one and a half years’ plan and preparation by Japanese funded (Integrated Group) and Macau JCM-Freight F|warding Services Limited (JCM). This new company will have Macau as its base, through abundant international experience of its Japanese shareholder I.L. Group in total logistic and extended transport network relationship in the Southeast Asia region, together with intimate cooperation with its Macau shareholder JCM, its vision is to fully utilize the potential advantage of Macau’s free port and transshipment horizon, to provide local and overseas with full and speedy integrated logistic transport quality services. The share capital of IJCM is subscribed by two quotas, 60% of which is owned by Japanese I.L. Group and 40% by Macau JCM. Through deliberation of the Board of Directors’ meeting amongst Japanese and Macau representatives, Dr. Yeung Tsun Man Eric was elected President of the Company. The underlying value of the constitution of IJCM is that with this first time participation of Japanese investment in Macau’s transshipment business, it marked a significant new era of transshipment development in Macau. One of the main objectives of setting up IJCM is to promote and develop the trading and transshipment market of Macau. Macau’s trading business has always been depending largely on export to Europe and America of its local light-industrial production, such as garment, toys etc. IJCM Logistic (Macau) Limited’s aim is to make use of Macau’s relative advantage on low production cost, free port and convenient access to China, to exploit its function as a transshipment station that connects South China and Southeast Asian Countries.
