Notore Chemical Industries is an agro-allied & chemicals company committed to helping Nigeria and the African continent become self reliant in food production and economic wealth.Notore’s fertiliser plant is currently urea fertiliser plant in sub-Saharan Africa. Upon refurbishment, the plant will produce 1100 tonnes per day of ammonia and 1723 tonnes per day of urea in its first year. The company’s 5 year strategic plan includes the development of 2 further trains of fertilizer production facilities bringing Notore’s total capacity to about 6500 tonnes per day. Notore is thus well positioned to become the major supplier of fertilizer in Africa. By making fertilizer more readily available to farmers, Notore will be helping to reduce hunger and achieve food security on the continent. With the coming of Notore, a revolution has indeed begun – it is the African Green Revolution.
