The oil terminal is equipped with a maximum reliable 100000 deadweight ton oil tanker and oil pipelines with diameters ranging from 101.6 to 304.8mm for loading and unloading. The coal terminal can accommodate ships with a reliable load capacity of 30000 tons and can dock 7 ships of different sizes for simultaneous operations, with a daily loading and unloading rate of 25000 tons. The ore terminal is equipped with a reliable 70000 ton vessel that can unload 2000 tons of ore per hour. The open-air storage yard covers an area of 320000 square meters. Grimsby Port has railways leading to industrial areas in central England, mainly for ships entering and exiting Scandinavia (S-CANDINAVIA). Yimingham Port and Grimsby Port are both under the leadership of the B-RITISH Transport Docks Board in the United Kingdom. The main export goods of Yigang include coal, crude oil, fertilizers, vehicles, machinery, paper, textiles, steel products, and miscellaneous goods. The main import goods include crude oil, ore, pulp, sulfur, ammonium sulfate, wood, potassium hydroxide, petroleum products, and miscellaneous goods. In 1992, the container throughput was 123000 TEUs, and the cargo throughput with Grimsby Port reached 40 million tons. The main imported goods of Gegang include cured meat, butter, chemicals, fish, and steel products, while the main exported goods include vehicles, machinery, textiles, etc. Due to the increasing volume of coal and ore loading and unloading, the authorities at the port of Iran are expanding warehouses and loading and unloading equipment.
