ZAMBOANGA/Samboanga# Port nature: Fjord Port, with export processing zone# Longitude and latitude: 06 ° 54'N, 122 ° 04'E# Located on the southwest coast of Mindanao Island in the southern Philippines (full name: REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES), on the west coast of MORO Bay, adjacent to the north side of the Basilan Strait, it is an important international transit port in the southern Philippines. It is the capital of Zamboanga Province, located at a maritime transportation hub, and is the terminal station at the southern end of the "Pan Philippine Highway" (the "Pan Philippine Highway" starts from Rao City on Luzon Island in the north and ends at Zamboanga in the south, with a total length of about 13000 km). There are regular domestic flights at the port airport. The port has a tropical rainforest climate, with prevailing west and southwest winds. The annual average temperature is 27 ℃, with the highest daily average temperature being 31 ℃ and the lowest being 23 ℃. There are many typhoons in summer and autumn seasons. There are 26 thunderstorm days every year. The average annual rainfall is about 2000mm. It is a semi diurnal tidal port with an average tidal range of 1m. There are 6 main berths in the port area, with a shoreline length of 1253 meters and a maximum water depth of 12 meters. There is a dedicated coconut storage warehouse with a capacity of approximately 6000 tons. There are four oil depots. The private terminal can accommodate vessels with a maximum load capacity of 15000 tons, exclusively for loading coconut oil and dried coconut. The Hong Kong Export Processing Zone was established in 1982, with an area of 500000 square meters. The main export goods are dried coconut, wood, rubber, coconut oil, cocoa, etc.
