Port Introduction
Pulupandan is located in the West Negros Province of Negros Island and is a historic agricultural trade and bulk cargo port. Industry background: The area where the port is located is a famous "sugar can" in the Philippines, making it a core gateway for exporting raw sugar and syrup for a long time. Functional positioning: In addition to the sugar industry, Prupandan is also an important distribution center for bulk building materials (such as sand and cement) and fertilizers. It undertakes the inbound logistics of most of the bulk materials in the western part of Negros Island. Infrastructure: The port has an operational area protected by breakwaters, mainly for handling coastal feeder cargo ships. Its logistics hinterland directly covers local sugar factories and agricultural cooperatives, and is an important node in the agricultural supply chain of the central Philippine archipelago (Visayas District).
