Port Introduction
Port on the southwest coast of North Island, New Zealand. The maximum draft is 5 meters, and the load density of water is 1010. Tide range of 1.2 meters, prevailing west wind, mandatory pilotage. Working hours: 7 days a week, continuous for 24 hours. Entry into the port is limited by climatic conditions. The port service facilities include ship repair, refueling, small boats, medical services, towing, sewage disposal, fresh water, supplies, repatriation, and no dry dock. The cliff pier is located on the right bank of the Wanganui River, with a length of 580 meters. The Yanya Grand Ship Pool has an entrance width of 100 meters and requires frequent dredging for ships with a length of 110 meters and a draft of 5 meters. The inner side of the entrance channel is sandy shore. Backup cargo hold.
