Japanese industrial port. Located in the southeast of Hiroshima Prefecture, southwest of Honshu, on the north coast of the Seto Inland Sea, southeast of the port city, adjacent to the mouth of the Ashida River. 20 nautical miles east of Shuidao Port, 32 nautical miles east of Yuye Port, and 35 nautical miles east of Takamatsu Port; 19 nautical miles west of Onomichi Port, 68 nautical miles west of Hiroshima Port, and 147 nautical miles west of Moji Port in Kitakyushu. Hong Kong mainly serves the Fushan Iron and Steel Plant with an annual production capacity of 16 million tons. The steel plant is located on a semi island shaped land for filling and excavation. The east, south, and west sides of the peninsula are all part of the dock area. There are 10 berths on the east side of the raw material dock, except for 3 intermediate berths in the north. The other 7 berths have a water depth of 11.0-17.3 meters, especially the A, B, L, and M4 berths in the south, with a berth line length ranging from 250 meters to 315 meters and a water depth of 16.0-17.3 meters. It is the main import dock for the plant's ore and coal, equipped with 8 gantry cranes; South Wharf has two 35000 ton berths with a water depth of 13 meters, which are used for imports such as abandoned ports; The west is a finished goods terminal with three berths, two of which are 35000 ton berths with a water depth of 13 meters, and the other berth is also 20000 ton. Ships enter and exit through the main north-south channel, with the raw material dock located on the west side of the top of the main channel. The water depth of the main channel is over 17 meters, and there are large anchorages outside the port.
