Livorno Port, also known as L-EGHORN Port, is located on the northwest coast of the APP-ENNINO Peninsula in Italy, on the east side of the Ligurian Sea. It is one of the main seaports in northern Italy and has duty-free warehouses. Located about 20km north of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it faces the French island of Corsica across the sea. The main industries include steel, chemical, refining, shipbuilding, copper, aluminum smelting, glass, textiles, and food, as well as large shipyards. LIVORON port is still a beautiful natural harbor. About 20km from the airport and about 76n miles from the port of Genoa. The port has a subtropical Mediterranean climate, with prevailing east and northeast winds.
