FOYNES

Located downstream of the Shannon River on the western coast of Ireland (full name: IRELAND, Ireland), about 25n miles from the mouth of the sea. It is an ore export port in western Ireland. The port has a temperate maritime climate with prevailing southwest winds. The average temperature in the coldest month is 4-7 ℃, and the average temperature in the hottest month is 12-15 ℃. The average annual rainfall is about 900mm. The average tidal range is as follows: during major floods, the high tide is 5.1m and the low tide is 0.6m; during minor floods, the high tide is 3.9m and the low tide is 2m. There are two main berths in the port area: (1) FERRO CONCrete WEST PIER: The shoreline is 106 meters long and the water depth reaches 9.1 meters. The main loading and unloading equipment includes mobile cargo carriers that can move throughout the entire berth. The loading efficiency is 500 tons per hour. I have been on a 166m long ship before. Both highways and railways are connected to the dock. (2) The NEW EAST PIER has a shoreline length of 140 meters and a water depth of 9.7 meters. It can accommodate ships of 20000 deadweight tons and has a railway line to the dock. The annual cargo throughput capacity of the port is about 1.8 million tons. The main export goods are ores, while the main import goods include fertilizers, timber, and petroleum.
