View MorePort Introduction
Indonesian commercial port. Located in the middle section of the north coast of Java Island, north of the port, facing the Java Sea. It is 193 nautical miles east of Tanjung Pelepa (Surabaya) Port, 236 nautical miles west of Tanjung Pelepa (Jakarta) Port, 682 nautical miles from Singapore Port, and 1857 nautical miles north of Hong Kong. The port area is located in a water area with a concave land bank, and is protected by a north extending west east breakwater and a northwest southeast north breakwater. Ships enter the port from the west. There is a large protruding pier extending northwest within the port, with a total length of 2141 meters along the border and northeast coast. However, the water depth along the border is still relatively shallow, only 1.5-4.1 meters. The northeast bank of the harbor extends 605 meters northward, and the water depth at the forefront is excavated to 9.0 meters to build a new dock; Then it develops eastward, forming three modern protruding dikes that extend northward, and extends northward along the east breakwater to bend the middle section of the north breakwater. The inner walls are widened to form a deep-water dock. At that time, the deep-water dock line reached at least 5000 meters, becoming a large modern deep-water port with broad prospects.
