To the east of Hong Kong, about 54 nautical miles from the river mouth, about 260 nautical miles north of Singapore, about 320 nautical miles southeast of Tanjung Pelepas, and 1653 nautical miles northeast of Hong Kong. Hong Kong is affected by tides and shallow waters at the mouth of the Muxi River, with a high tide range of 2.4 meters and an average tide range of 1.8 meters; The water depth of the estuary and Bund is 4.5 meters below sea level during high tide and low tide, and only a draft of 7.5 meters is allowed. Ships with a length of less than 185 meters are allowed to enter the port by taking advantage of the tide. The main distribution of docks in the port includes: Port Authority Dock, located on the northwest bank of Muxi Bridge, adjacent to the city center. There is a cement dock with a depth of 630 meters, and the front water depth is 7 meters during high tide and low tide. There are 10, 15, 18, 25, and 30 ton mobile shore cranes on the dock. PUSRI dock area, located on the left bank downstream of the Port Authority dock, has 4 berths with a total length of 530 meters and a front water depth of 6-7 meters. It is a dedicated dock for fertilizer plants. KOMENING estuary port area, located on the downstream right bank, can be divided into three parts. Section A is on the left bank of the estuary, with LEMABANG wharf, a protruding embankment, only 12 meters long, and a front water depth of 5.6 meters during high tide and low tide. It can accommodate 6000 ton oil tankers with a length of 117 meters; Section B is located on the left side outside the river mouth, with PLAJU oil terminal and 7 berths, all of which are small protruding dikes. The water depth at the forefront during high tide and low tide is 5.5-13.2 meters, and it can reliably accommodate 8 1.0-meter-18000 ton oil tankers; Section C is located on the right side outside the river mouth, with a "T" - shaped protruding embankment and a front water depth of 5.7-9.7 meters. It can reliably accommodate oil tankers of 16000 to 18000 tons and is also a petrochemical terminal. In addition, the port is located in the KARTAPATI area upstream of the bridge, with a 250 meter coal terminal of the Port Authority and a water depth of 5.5 meters along the edge. There are over 20 berths with a capacity of over 1000 tons in Hong Kong, with an annual throughput of over 10 million tons. The main exports include crude oil and its products, rubber, fertilizers, pepper, tea, coffee, rattan, rosin, and coal; Imported machinery, miscellaneous goods and other industrial products.
