Salvadoran commercial port in Central America. Located on the western coast of the country, 85 nautical miles east of the capital El Salvador, 175 nautical miles south of Corinto by sea, and 61 nautical miles north of San Jose. The port is surrounded by a dock and breakwater extending westward from the shore. The south pier and breakwater are in an "F" shape, with the inner southern section of the outer barrier being the A pier, which is 310 meters long and 37 meters wide, with 2 berths for ships with a draft of 9-10 meters to dock. Loading and unloading dry and wet bulk cargo; The northern section is Terminal C, which is 270 meters long and 18 meters wide, with 2 berths for loading and unloading containers, general cargo, and bulk cargo for ships with a draft of 12 meters; The internal barrier is Pier B, 370 meters long, with 2 berths on each side. For loading and unloading containers, general cargo, and bulk cargo on ships with a draft of 9-10 meters.
