Dominican Republic commercial port in the Caribbean Islands. Located in the southeast of Haiti, the sea route extends 230 nautical miles east to San Juan Port, 471 nautical miles west to Port au Prince, 424 nautical miles to Kingston Port, and 799 nautical miles to Cristobal Port at the northern entrance of the Panama Canal. The general cargo terminal of the port is mainly located on the west bank of the Osama River estuary, with berths 1-2 in the southwest northeast direction. The total length of the berth line is 305 meters, and the front water depth is 8.8 meters. It is the deep-water general cargo berth of the port; At the eastern end of berth 2, there is a 61 meter shoreline that turns southeast northwest, with a water depth of up to 6.5 meters; Berth 3 turns southwest northeast again, with a length of 152 meters and a front water depth of 6.5 meters; Berth 4 has turned north and south, with a total length of 245 meters, but the water depth has been reduced to 6.2 meters. There is still a 115 meter transitional shoreline between berths 3-4 for berthing, and the water depth has also reached 6.2 meters; Berths 5-6 are located in the northern part of the port, with a total length of 396 meters and a water depth of 6.2 meters or less along the edge. There are also oil docks and bulk grain barn docks on the north and south sides of the east coast, with a water depth of 8.4 meters. There are over 10 berths in Hong Kong for merchant ships to dock.
