Port Introduction
Rovinj is located on the western coast of the Istrian Peninsula. The city along the Adriatic Sea has a population of 13562 people. Rovini was once part of the Byzantine Empire. Before World War I, Rovini belonged to the Austro Hungarian Empire. After World War I, it was transferred to Italy. After World War II, this city was transferred to Yugoslavia. During this period, many Italians left the city. Rovinj belongs to the Mediterranean region and is also a famous tourist city.
