OTTAWA

Ottawa (English name: ottawa, on) is one of the ports in Canada, with the port code CAOTT. Ottawa is the capital of Canada, the sixth largest city in the country, with an area of 2778 square kilometers. It is located in southeastern Ontario, on the south bank of the Ottawa River, 400 kilometers east of Toronto, and 190 kilometers west of Montreal. Ottawa was established on September 26, 1826, under the name "Byton", as a Christian town in Ireland and France. It merged into one town on January 1, 1850, and was replaced by the name "Ottawa" on January 1, 1855. Ottawa has continued to develop into a political and industrial technology center in Canada, and has now become a large city with diverse cultures, high standards of living, and low unemployment rates. The name 'Ottawa' comes from the Algonquin language adawe, meaning 'trade'. Ottawa is often abbreviated as Wojing by Chinese people.
